-Remove this one air tube on the front and the connector plugs from the TPS and the other sensors.
-Note: You might have 4 things pluged in, I don't have anything plugged into my map sensor as my tuner most likely replaced when installing the turbo.
-Remove your primary intake duct from the throttle body. This will free up a lot of working room.
- This will be a good time to inspect your clamp and upgrade if need be.
-Locate these four bolts/nuts and remove them. One is hidden fairly well tucked behind the IAC Valve as shown in the arrow. Should be two bolts and two nuts each diagonally adjacent to each other.
Remove these two tubes, start with the bottom one first and have a cup ready.
It'll will probably fill up about 2.5 cups so have a clean bucket on the side.
-I just cut open the top a milk jug and washed it out.
-When a cup fills up, just put your finger over the hole, empty the cup, and repeat until drained.
-Loosen the top nut only on your throttle cable to move them away from the throttle cable bracket.
-Try your best not to let the bottom nut move.
-Pull your throttle body away from your intake manifold and remove this last sensor connection to your IAC Valve.
- Pull back on your throttle and get a finger under the throttle cable...
Maneuver the cable through the slit on the side to remove both throttle cables away from the throttle itself.
-Note: Be careful not to mix up the throttle cables when you take them off. One will go on the black throttle the other will go on the silver throttle.
-Step 9: Install both throttle cables on your new throttle body along with any sensors you may need from your old TB.
Note: Now would be a good time to clean out your IAC valve.
-If you got 20 bucks burning a hole in your pocket, why not order a Power Rev TB Gasket to buffer your Throttle Body away from your Intake Manifold. Metal to metal contact is bad and can heat up your cold air before it even makes it to your valve.
-Just slip it on to your intake manifold, before you re-install your throttle body and your done.
-Step 10: Slip your new TB back on it's intake manifold and repeat Steps 7~1 in reverse.
Be carefull not to strip the heads on those aluminum intake manifolds, it'll messy up your day. Check helms for proper torque specifications for all installations.
